🍂Cinnamon Swirl & Cherry 🍒 Crumble Cake 🍰

I’m a big fan of the boxed brand Krusteaz. They have many Gluten Free treats , muffins , cakes , brownies & pancakes . I haven’t tried everything yet but have tried a few and the Cinnamon Swirl crumble cake is back on my grocery list .

What I look like in my kitchen when I’m excited for another great bake 😂

I like to add other ingredients to make the recipe my own . I added fresh cherries to this mix and it was delicious !

Box comes with cake mix and a bag of cinnamon sugar mix

What you’ll need :

  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 cherries pitted and cut in half
  • 8 x 8 cake pan

In a bowl , add cake mix , water & oil and mix well

Pour half of the batter into a lightly greased 8 x 8 cake pan and make sure it’s spread evenly to the ends and corners , sprinkle the cinnamon & sugar mixture over the batter ( as little or as much as you want but save some for top of cake ) I prefer a little . Then add the cherries on top of cinnamon mixture .

Add some of the cherries juice you might have into the rest of the batter ( like a tablespoon ) mix well and then pour the rest of the cake mix into the pan. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon & sugar mix on top and place in the oven ( please refer to the box for oven settings ) .

I made this cake last week and can’t remember the oven temperature.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
