Ingredients: –

🦃 • 1 whole turkey (about 12 lb weight), neck and giblets removed

🧂 • Salt and black pepper to your taste

🧅 • 1 cup sliced onion

🌱• 1 bunch thyme, chopped

🌿• ½ cup chopped rosemary sprigs

🍃• ½ cup chopped sage leaves

🧄• 1 tbsp. sliced garlic

🧈 • ½ cup melted butter

🫗• 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions: –

• Set your oven to 450F to preheat. Place turkey on a baking sheet and stuff the cavity with sliced onion, rosemary, sage leaves, and sliced garlic. Tie the turkey legs and brush melted butter all over the turkey.

• Add broth to the sheet and cook for 30 mins at 350F. Brush butter again on the turkey, then sprinkle salt and pepper all over the turkey and cook again for 3 hours at 300F (baste after 30 mins).

• Wrap the turkey with aluminum foil and roast for additional 20-25 mins or until internal meat temperature measures 165F. Remove, cool completely, slice, serve and enjoy.
